It's been a little more that a year since I wrote about my love for spring. And my feelings towards the season haven't changed. It's still my second favourite season (right after summer - if we should ever experience something of the like again).
Was sich aber geändert hat, ist der Anblick in unserem Garten. Denn als ich vor anderthalb Jahren die Krokusse gepflanzt habe, habe ich mich bewusst nicht für die großen und eindrucksvollen, sondern für die eher bescheideneren aber dafür verwildernden Sorten entschieden. Was natürlich im letzten Jahr noch nicht viel hergemacht hat, da es ja der erste Austrieb war.
What has changed, however, is the picture in our front yard. Because when I planted the crocuses one and a half years ago, I consciously decided against the bigger, more impressive sorts and in favour of the more humble, but proliferating sorts. Which of course didn't have much to show for it last year, since it was the first growth season.

Yes, the little crocuses have multiplied nicely. And even though the weather isn't all that springy yet, I now have something to look forward to every time I leave the house :-)
