Just a short post to clarify that I'm still alive - even though in the past few days I sometimes wished it were different... Because last week I had exactly one day to enjoy birthday, presents and the new year of my live before some kind of stupid flu knocked me flat. Who needs that kind of thing? I certainly don't. But after going easy in myself for a week and spending a lot of time in bed, my will to live is slowly returning.
Okay, genug gejammert. Ehe es mich niedergelegt hat, habe ich es immerhin noch geschafft, mich mit meiner Bernette ein bisschen vertrauter zu machen:
All right, enough whingeing. Before I was put out of action, I at least managed to get more intimately acquainted with my Bernette:
Und natürlich musste ich mir für das erste Projekt sowas flutschiges wie Stretchsamt aussuchen... Aber es hat trotzdem ganz gut geklappt und ich bin inzwischen sicher, dass die Bernette kein Fehlkauf war.
And naturally for my first project I had to pick something as slippery as elastic velvet... But in spite of that it went rather well and by now I'm sure that the Bernette wasn't a mispurchase.
Und wer sich jetzt fragt, was die Steine sollen: Die sind nicht nur Deko, sondern ich benutze sie als Anker zur Unterstützung der Arbeit mit Hypnose. Zugegeben, dafür könnte man jeden beliebigen Gegenstand nehmen, den der Klient so mit sich rumschleppt. Aber die Steine sind halt viel bunter :-)
And for anyone wondering about the drumstones: Those aren't just for decoration, but instead I use them as anchors to support my work with hypnosis. Admittedly you could use pretty much anything the client carries around with himself. But the stones are way more pretty :-)
