Flammentuch / Flaming Shawl

Ich hatte ja eigentlich vorgehabt, wöchentlich zwischen dem Flammentuch und der Strickjacke zu wechseln. Aber jetzt ist ein konkreter Termin aufgetaucht, zu dem ich das Tuch doch gerne fertig hätte. Und das habe ich mir ganz frech zum Anlass genommen, mich erstmal auf das Tuch zu konzentrieren und die Jacke nach hinten zu stellen. Entsprechend ist der Fortschritt:

Well. I had intended to switch between the Flaming Shawl and the cardigan every week. But now I have identified a tangible date on which I'd like to have the shawl finished. And thus I boldly decided that for now I'm going to focus my effort on the scarf and put the cardigan on the back burner. With corresponding progress:


Der rote Streifen geht gut voran, und ich dürfte schon bald beim letzten Teil angekommen sein. Und der ist leider auch der arbeitsintensivste mit ungefähr 45 % der Gesamtfläche. Zumal ich mir über den Abschluss noch nicht ganz klar bin, er aber wahrscheinlich auf ein extra Stück Arbeit rauslaufen wird ...

The red stripe is progressing nicely and I should reach the final part soon. Unfortunately that one is the most work-intensive, since it makes up about 45 % of the shawl. And that's not considering that I'm not yet sure about the finish - but quite sure it's going to be an extra piece of work...

Aber trotzdem bin ich ziemlich sicher, dass ich es pünktlich schaffen werde - das wäre doch gelacht...

Nevertheless, I'm pretty sure it's going to be finished on time. I hope...
