Spinnerter Montag / Spinning Monday

Vor lauter Hypnose hätte ich ja fast die Spinnerei unter den Tisch fallen lassen. Und das soll nicht sein, denn seit dem letzten Mal war ich fleißig:

With all the hypnotising I'd almost forgot about the spinning. And that shouldn't be, because I've been pretty productive since the last update:


Vier Vliese sind jetzt versponnen. Eins muss auf die Spule noch drauf, dann ist die nächste dran. Ich hoffe, das passt noch dazu, sonst bringt es meine ganze Planung durcheinander. Die sieht nämlich vor, dass ich die 30 schwarzen Vliese auf sechs Spulen verteile und dann jeweils drei schwarze und eine weiße Spule miteinander verzwirne. Und es natürlich idealerweise genau aufgeht und keine Reste übrig bleiben und überhaupt die Singles sich perfekt ausgleichen und das Garn in sich ausgewogen ist und so weiter.

Four batts have been spun up. One more has to go on the bobbin, then I'll switch to next one. I hope it will fit, otherwise it's going to mess with my whole planning. Namely, that I'll divide the 30 batts onto six bobbins and then ply three black ones with one white bobbin at a time. And naturally there will be no left-overs and the singles will balance each other perfectly and the yarn will be even and the twist balanced and so on.
